Why is friday the 13th unlucky?
13 is a traditionally unlucky number for Christians, amongst other reasons this is because it was a lucky number for pagans who were, at one point, a fairly large threat to christian dominance. Fridays are, according to some, the one day of the week when some sort of magical creature turns wicked and evil.

i know that everyone has taken photos of eyes im sorry for the repetivness, but i’ve never taken a photo like this before. This week my independent study was macro photography and seeing as there are no flowers at our school or anything else mutually interesting i decided eyes would be my best bet.
i love the color, just its kind of a weird angle, i guess. i would like it better if there was more of the face, or the eye straight on maybe?

I love the way you’ve captured this, it has great exposure, but my only problem is that if you had of come out slightly you could of captured more emotion in it. Other than that, I’d say well done.

A little more?… constructive?
I’m not a real fan of these… they are pretty much like spider webs, although occasionally an interesting one comes along, there’s not really much difference from one to the other.
The image, to me at least, is a bit contrasty on the skin around the eye itself because of reflected light and that draws my attention away from the interesting part of the image, the iris color and patterns.
Since you did shoot macro, I would think the natural progression for this shot would be to concentrate on the iris and remove the other distractions… the skin, eyelids, lashes,…
Then, I think maybe create a universe around that iris.
I can’t be constructive on this image,… there is really no wow factor for me.
