Is this a good scene?
I’m debating on whether this scene in my book should be included. It’s NOT the cliche dream scene - as the protagonist is actually aware that it is a dream.
Also, I believe "he" is used too much. Any ideas on how to fix this and the scene’s other flaws would be welcomed.
The rose bore rigid, steely petals. He stroked his finger down one, and it blackened under his touch. As its colour was leeched, the petal crumbled away like ash.
In the dream, he wore a crown of rusted blades and nothing else, but he was alone. His hair was blonde again, plaited down his back in intricate ropes of gold. There was a slight breeze, and it plucked at the long bangs framing his narrow face.
His land sprawled for leagues, a mad tangle of iron thorn and silver rose. As he began to walk, the bushes scratched the prince

His vocals were one of the most highest and powerful rock vocals of all time, not many can each his high notes. Axel Rose was a really great song writer having a mixture of punk, and classical poetry as a mixture to his writing.

Michael Jackson himself had high level vocals, at the same time had an amazing angelic powerful voice filled with emotion. His ability to dance rival dance masters such as James Brown. Why is it that girls always… [i'm a guy]?
Why is it that girls frequently will give me compliments like "you’re hair looks good today" or "I like your hair, it’s soft and thick [run hands through it]" but NEVER about my entire appearance…
Is my hair (which I hate btw, the only reason it looks somewhat decent is because I spend a lot of time in the morning with product making sure it looks good) the only thing girls like about me? I guess I’m not good enough in all the other aspects?

What do you think is Bill Moseley's best role?
I say Otis Driftwood in the Devil’s Rejects. He was so convincing, and was "lost" in the role. He wasn’t just playing the character, he BECAME the character (along the same lines of Ledger becoming the Joker). He was unrecognizable in the role. Its one thing to a play a part, but its another thing entirely to BE the role and that’s what he did.
I agree. His best role was in The Devil’s Reject’s playing Otis.

tough call. joshua wins by youth alone. mosley could just turn old on the ring. he has been inactive for a while. despite his win over margarito (on the same night his cheating was discovered), mosley is quite an old 39 year old by the end of the year.

Clottey is another fighter Shane would look great against, Clotteys lack of speed would be his downfall to Shane, Clottey has never been in the ring with a fighter of Shanes expereince and ring smarts. Mosley will counter him till the cows come home. Mosley would stop Clottey in the late rounds, Ill say round 11.
Pacquiao will have a harder time with Clottey then Shane would , styles make fights and those styles mix perfectly for Shane.

The Boxing Promoters nightmare fight? Mosely beating Floyd and Clottey beating Manny?
I say that if Mosley maintains the level he was at when he beat Margarito, he beats Clottey because of higher volume of accurate punching.
Clottey won’t let him get in too many clean shots, but Shane nearly beat Winky Wright (the 2nd time around) who used the same style (probably more slick and effective than Clottey) only left handed.
I think Mosely would acutally be the stronger guy, which shocks big welterweights like Clottey and makes them uncomfortable. Mosely by UD, tough tough fight.

Have to agree with View from the Corner. Against Mosley, Clottey has no advantage to press against him. At the very least against Pacquiao he can hope to use his size. Provided Mosley doesn’t grow old before our eyes, he’ll win this with a clear UD.

Need a word of advice. I've been single for the last 6 months and…?
…still miss her. But, ‘Maria’ chose her religion and other more constrictive rules in our relationship that eventually led to our breaking up. I regret that it happened but, it needed to happen.
Since then I got involved with the ‘wrong’ woman. She’s married and was, 9 yrs ago my GF…we met up 3 times in the last 4 months and talked on the phone every freaking day. It was great, I could actually get along with her unlike before when we were in out early 20s. But, like before she showed that she was still problematic, insecured and quite the liar. I kicked myself in the head for allowing my feelings to get involved in this.
But, it’s over….she messed up and I made sure that she’s out of my life now.
There’s an ex GF who wants me back…’Rachel’….but, she doesn’t turn me on. She’s smart, funny, and overall a great catch….but, she doesn’t turn me on. She’s more of a friend to me .
Another woman would want me (maybe not anymore) to have been more committed to her. It was always a sex based relationship with ‘Sandy’. She has a child and I didn’t really want to become someone’s stepdad. But, she’s all the things that a man would want in a bed mate….truly.
And then, there’s ‘Esther’ who for all intents and purposes has had a rough life, lost custody of her only child…left the country to work in Europe and after spending a few passionate nights with me 7 yrs ago has found me online and would like to re-connect in a more BF/GF role.
The thing is….I feel pulled by all these choices. I have gone from feeling in loved with ‘Maria’ to feeling for the married one to now, debating whether I should give Esther a chance or, should I just get over myself and get with Rachel?
I may just need to stay clear of women for a while….
Has anyone been in this situation? What do you do?
Each situation, in my opinion, has way too much history or baggage. I think you should look into new, fresh women, rather than hooking up with old hook-ups. Some flames cannot be rekindled–and those that can, shouldn’t be.

KILLER BACK PAIN WHAT DO I DO?
yesterday i was pulling up carpet and my back started hurting now i can move with out this shot of pain going up and down my back and legs i have try ed to take aspirin and it don’t do nothing i don’t know what to do i was thinkin try a heating pad or something like that if you have any suggestions let me know please thank you
It is difficult to say exactly what you have done. Back pain is always best to be examined by a licensed Professional. It sounds like you might have just pulled something or "tweaked" your back. I would try some ibuprofen or another anti inflammatory to take down any swelling. Use a heat pad and an ice pack. 15-20min with the heat then do 14-20 ice. Rotate this a few times. Make sure to get as much rest as possible.
If the pain does not go away, or gets worse in the next few days get into see your doctor. Many people suffer from back pain. The cause comes in all forms. Again its hard to say what you did since none of us are doctors, nor do we know the exact issue.

This problem is temporary & is fully curable without medicines. Yes you can use heating pad & apply some jell/cream ( pain reliever) for getting relief in pain but take precaution that applying any pain jell/cream for getting relief from pain do not use heating pad. Heating pad should always be used before applying cream. When you feel you are some comfortable you can do the yogasanas for curing the back pain. While you are suffering from back pain take following precautions—
