LADIES, I NEED ADVICE, PLEASE?
There is this GORGEOUS girl I have been friends with for years (I’m 30, she is 28) and recently we have gotten closer… Out to dinner, spending the night together (kissing thats all). Talk on the phone almost everynight. This weekend she asked me to spend the night at her parents (30 min away) and hang out with them for the weekend (already met them before). My question is… We have never talked about "us" and It’s been over a month, but I only want her in my life and I know she will probably never be the one to bring it up or maybe she thinks of me as just a friend?? . Should I say something this weekend or just let things be and run its course Or should I just ask her to dinner for Valentines? Ladies, what do you think?? I’ve never been nervous like this about a girl, but she makes my heart stop and time stands still when she’s around!
Make the leap and ask her out. If it works out great! If not, it wasnt meant to be.

OMGSH yeah go with her to her parents house, and bring it up in a causal conversation.
don’t sound like a freak or anything, just tell her that the more time you spend with her the more feelings you get & that you just were wondering if she felt the same way or ask her in witch way does she think of you in.
& if she tells you she has feelings for you too deff take her out for v-day make it a night she will never forget!!

If she took you to her parents house to spend the night i’d say she is interested and just wanted you to behave. Do something cute like give her a basket filled with her favorite junk foods and some sexy comfy p.j’s and spend a romantic night together watching a movie at home. do this after dinner or whatever or decorate her office for valentine day’s it’ll surprise her, embarrass her a bit but she’ll feel special. With that something should come naturally

Tom and his uncle Charlie work for a money transport firm and their assignment is to evacuate all cash from the banks along the flooding river. Hank tries to prevent further flooding, as he’s the guy responsible for the dam up the river, but he has to open one gate in order to save the old dam from breaking. Only the police under the Sheriff’s leadership stay in town to prevent looting. As the water level rises, Tom and Charlie’s Truck gets stuck in the flooded road. Does anyone know anyone or had a baby who needed a colostomy bag or surgery?
My daughter is 1 week old today. When she was born it was discovered that her bum hole is in the wrong place, its right up next to her vagina. So she is going to need a couple of surgeries to fix the problem.
In 3 weeks she is having her first operation to get a colostomy bag, to stop her pooping out her bum. Im of course very nervous about her having an operation so young, but i have met her surgeon and he seems like a good dude so that helped out a little bit. Im just wondering if anyone knows if we will have to change her colostomy bag or if they will send out a nurse to our house to get it changed every day or couple of days or however it works? I dont mind having to change it, i was just wondering. Also she is fully breastfed, so i was wondering if she will have to be nil by mouth before surgery? If so how will they keep her hydrated and not hungry? And last question, how long will we/she have to stay in hospital for?
When she was born she was in the NICU for 2 days as they thought she didnt have a bum at all, until she did a poo and i couldnt feed her for the first 6 hours. Then we were in the post natal ward for another 3 days. It was really hard for me as i also have a son who is only 15 months old and very clingy and i didnt get to see him for 5 days, i was an emotional wreck and dont want to have to go through that same thing again
Unfortunately the questions you have asked, I don’t have the answers to. The surgeon should have told you all this…or he eventually will.
I would imagine the first few times of changing the bag will be done in hospital, and you’ll be shown how to do it. I think it needs to be changed daily(at least my uncles does) maybe different for babies, I’m not sure.
Seriously, you need to ask your doctor these questions. Good luck…she will be fine!

She will probably be NPO (nothing by mouth) before surgery. They will schedule it early in the am and being so small it won’t be like nothing to eat or drink after midnight. Maybe it will be 4 hours but I am guessing.
I do not know anyone who had a colostomy bag that young. My BIL had an ileostomy bag after his colon ruptured. This is practically the same thing, except the stoma (opening coming out) where the appliance fits on was not the colon, but the ileum (higher up) small intestine instead of large intestine.
My husband is a certified WOC nurse (wound ostomy care-skin care) so he is a colostomy specialist. Yes you will be changing the colostomy bags. They won’t throw you to the wolves. 1 its not that hard. 2 you have to change it or rinse it with every bm, 3 BF babies have several bm’s a day. You will be educated on it, and at first there will be someone doing home visits for it though it probably won’t be a WOCN (they cost too much), it will probably just be a regular RN. She won’t have an appliance for long. But it will require another surgery to reverse the elimination. She will get an IV during the procedure. I do not know how long she would be in the hospital for, I am guessing a couple of days maybe but I do not know. With a colostomy its easier because the lg intestine is where stool is formed. When the ostomy is higher up like an ileostomy it leaks more and it breaks down the skin. She will have a diaper overtop of the appliance for urine.
I am a nurse too, and have had patients with dementia who had a colostomy bag, its not bad at all and in a baby, I can’t imagine that being any less unpleasant than changing a regular diaper, only different, but no harder.
