Panic Room (2002)

I had a dream my babies heart wasn't beating anymore?
I was in the ultra sound room with my close friends and family. I remember being really stressed out before going into that room and screaming at the ultra sound lady because she wouldn’t let me in the room. She eventually unlocked the door and I layed down and she turned on the machine and did my ultra sound and she put it to the heart and I saw the heart wasn’t beating anymore and she looked at me very sad and so did the rest of the people in the room. I remember I felt something inside me just sink and I panicked. The ultrasound lady said she was so sorry and my friends tried to hold me but I said "Don’t touch me!" and I started crying and sobbing and telling the baby to wake up, and that I was sorry for letting stress get to me.
The dream felt so real 
It was the worst dream ever. Now I’m waiting for the baby to move around so I know it’s still alive!!
Are miscarriage dreams common through pregnnacy?
I’m 31 weeks…and in my dream you could see the baby smiling but the heart wasn’t beating and I kept on saying "It’s smiling it’s alive!" and the lady would check to see the heartbeat for the 2nd time and it wasn’t beating
Dreams are useless. You probably also had a dream in which your baby graduated from University and you dont remember it. Forget it. You are going through the paranoid phase!

The stress of pregnancy not to mention the pressure of having to take care of a child can have adverse affects on the mind, exploiting our fears and weaknesses is not an uncommon thing. I wouldn’t worry about it, if your 31 weeks in I would say a miscarriage is unlikely

Of course its normal to dream this.
Its what your scared of, probaly your thinking about it all the time so you dream of it.
I got disturbed by a video named "3 guys one hammer"it disturbed me so much i dreamt i was one of the murderers.

I read something about that and it happens in certain trmesters you will also have other wierd dreams about cheating on you other half and all that. This is just what i read cause I was having dreams that I could see all th toes and everything through my belly

very,..you’re just a worried mother. try not to worry, relax. this is the time when you should take it easy and not worry. it’s not good to be worrying right now. when you’re upset the baby knows it, so try to relax.

Try not to worry, when your pregnant hormones can give you funny dreams like that. Your baby is probally fine, but if you are really worried dont be afraid to go get it checked out.

Sometimes we do lose them. This one may have opted out. But look, it smiled at you, so its nothing personal. If the baby wants to go, let it go. But you can talk to it right before you go to sleep. Ask it to please stay, and you will be the best mother ever.

Bad dreams are caused by high levels of stress, it is perfectly normal to feel stressed during pregnancy. Your baby will be fine. You just need to find relaxation methods like, Yoga or Knitting.

wow, that is a nightmare. I am a guy so I do not know if that is normal for most women (i would guess yes), but here is something for you after the birth. SIDS is my biggest concern for any newborn baby. After your child is born, I would suggest investing in a movement monitor which sets off if the baby stops breathing/moving. It is a good way to prevent SIDS and will keep your mind at ease from having more nightmares like this after the birth.

Dreams are usually generated from information your brain takes in from an hour until the time you get to sleep until the time you doze off. There could have been a stimulus (e.g. magazine article) or you could have been thinking about it beforehand consciously or subconsciously. The body doesn’t know the difference between a miscarriage and normal birth so there is nothing to worry about.

You trust your dreams over ultrasounds? Miscarriages are rare in developed countries (2% at the most?). It could certainly happen, but it’s not likely at all. If the you’re obese, have health issues, or have been eating badly it will increase the chance of a miscarriage. If you’re really worried, go see a doctor, then he’ll say in a very nice covered up way ’stop being stupid’.

That sounds like a horrible nightmare and I doubt its true. I had 3 miscarriages and then with this last pregnancy I was so worried I had a dream kind of like that but I have a healthy baby girl. So maybe it was just telling you not to get stressed.

Lookin for the name of movie.?
It’s a spy-type movie (Bourne Identity like). There was a scene where the good guy is being persued and goes into a church (in Europe somewhere i think) the killer is sitting in the back, and the good guy changes clothes with one of the people next to him. The killer shoots the wrong guy and good guy escapes. Any ideas?

i know that everyone has taken photos of eyes im sorry for the repetivness, but i’ve never taken a photo like this before. This week my independent study was macro photography and seeing as there are no flowers at our school or anything else mutually interesting i decided eyes would be my best bet.
i love the color, just its kind of a weird angle, i guess. i would like it better if there was more of the face, or the eye straight on maybe?

I love the way you’ve captured this, it has great exposure, but my only problem is that if you had of come out slightly you could of captured more emotion in it. Other than that, I’d say well done.

A little more?… constructive?
I’m not a real fan of these… they are pretty much like spider webs, although occasionally an interesting one comes along, there’s not really much difference from one to the other.
The image, to me at least, is a bit contrasty on the skin around the eye itself because of reflected light and that draws my attention away from the interesting part of the image, the iris color and patterns.
Since you did shoot macro, I would think the natural progression for this shot would be to concentrate on the iris and remove the other distractions… the skin, eyelids, lashes,…
Then, I think maybe create a universe around that iris.
I can’t be constructive on this image,… there is really no wow factor for me.
