 Angels in the Outfield (1994)

Plot: The California Angels are currently the worst team in their division. It seems that the players have a little trouble with their teamwork. Manager George Knox would like nothing better than to dump all of them, which the owner says is impossible. Roger is a boy whose mother died and is currently living in a foster home. His father feels that it would probably be in Roger’s best interest if he becomes a ward of the state. But Roger would rather that he and his father get back together, and when he asks his father if that is possible; his father’s reply is “when the Angels win the pennant”. Roger then prays and asks if they could help the team. When Roger goes to a game, he sees some Angels come down from the sky and they help the players make some astounding catches and hits. When Roger tells Mr. Knox about it, Mr. Knox decides to keep him at every game, and it seems that Mr. Knox’s faith is put to the test cause it seems that the angel are going to help if uses his worst players, but it seems to be working.

What movie should I watch?

The Princess Bride
Juno has a good story line and The princess bride is a good movie as well. Either one, or both. I rented two movies that I’m getting ready to watch! One is called "The last house on the left" and the other is "Ghost of Girlfriends past".
It’s getting cold and The sun is not out…so that means time to cuddle up and watch movies

Plot: Picks up where the first movie (Karate Kid) leaves off. Mr. Miyagi and Daniel take a trip to Okinawa to visit Mr Miyagi’s dieing father. After arriving Mr Miyagi finds he still has feelings for an old love. This stirs up trouble with an old rival that he originally left Okinawa to avoid. In the mean time Daniel encounters a new love and also makes some enemies.

It also is called a spinning drum, a spinning drum toy, and a monkey drum. They can be found in a number of cultures.

I’ve even seen this type of drum at PowWows in our area though it generally is simpler looking and with no painted decorations. I can’t find a picture of one. So, I guess you can see that you can’t pin down where this drum design originated, anymore than you can pinpoint where the first "regular" drum was made. Actually, it looks as if the basic design sprang up all over the world.
I’m not going to say that it originated one place because I don’t believe that would be true, anymore than claiming that singing and dancing showed up in one place first. Bells also have worldwide presence though some are struck on the outside and some have clappers.

I'm ready to freak out! Exorcism?!? WHAT?
Hi.
I’m 14 and i hate halloween. Anyways i was watching some "scary ghost" videos on youtube. One was kinda creepy. I dont know how this happened but that night i began to think about the exorcist and what my religion teacher used to tell me. I’m litteraly crying right now. I’m so scared. What if that shit happens to me? Do you hae control? Is it real? Please please please help me. I’m a rreligous person and this though is literally freaking me out.

its okay, it very very rarely happens ive seen a real live possession only once and im lucky to have seen it at all. you do have somewhat control when the demon inside you is not doing anything but those few minutes are like hell on earth. it wont let you eat or have any fun whatsoever because its trying to drive you mad. sorry about the detail but you had to know

I am 14 also. Exorcism is real, but doesn’t happen to many people. If you haven’t had a paranormal experience yet, you probably won’t anytime soon. You do not have control over your own body when something takes over you. Do not freak out. Really, not many people actually experience exorcism.

Stop watching vidoes and read more (non) Horror books.
Genuine Demonic possession is rare and possibly a myth since judging from modern descriptions most of the so called demon possessed were just people with mental health issues like having alters.
Your religion teacher should have tell you demonic possession is actually quite rare.
What are you Catholic? Pentecostal?

Uh, I’m not religious and I still believe in demonic posession, but as the other people who answered your question already said it is highly unlikely it will happen to you due to you having so much faith…and being religious demons hate religious things its like their most hated thing, just relax your going to be fine…it is also rare anyhow.

My friend was possessed and as someone else said, its not pretty. She is a lot smaller than me and she had me lifted off the ground and pinned on the wall holding me by the neck. I have to say… it’s pretty terrifying. Eventually she was okay, and she said that if it wasn’t for me she probably wouldn’t have made it.
However, as people before me have said, the chances of that happening are most likely around 1 in 1 billion. So if you’re that person then all i can tell you is i hope to God that you have good and brave friends

If you are a Christian, don’t watch the scary stuff. It isn’t good for you. I’ll tell you a bit about what I’m learning about Christianity. It’s about faith for sure, a trust, but with love too. This takes a maturity. This isn’t just a head thing, a knowing, but also a heart thing — a willingness to love and commit to God eternally. The most important factors I’m learning are faith, love, peace, and meekness, plus obedience. God is our Creator, all-knowing, all-powerful, eternal, holy, love. Mostly, God is love and He wants us to be love too and become like Jesus Christ, which takes obedience and faith that He can help us succeed to do His will. Our will needs to be yielded to His will. We need to accept Jesus into our life as our Lord and Savior forever to receive God’s blessing and forgiveness plus go to heaven. Having Jesus in your life means changing your life to accept His leadership — thus He is your Lord, and not just your Savior. He wants to change us to be more like Him. The more we love God, the more we can commit and be obedient. I’m Lutheran and I like the Baptist churches too. Ways to stay on the project are going to church, reading the Bible daily, and daily prayer as needed. When you get older, check out a weekly Bible study group at church as these can be a good way to get committed to read the Bible often and keep going. Let God guide you. God bless.

The Catholic Encyclopedia defines exorcism as "the act of driving out, or warding off, demons, or evil spirits, from persons, places, or things, which are believed to be possessed or infested by them, or are liable to become victims or instruments of their malice." In short, it is a ritual performed by a Catholic priest to expel the devil from a person, place or thing.
There are several types of exorcism in the Roman Catholic Church:
Baptismal exorcism - blessing an infant prior to baptism to cleanse it of evil resulting from original sin
Simple exorcism - blessing a place or thing to rid it of evil influence
Real exorcism - performing the Rite of Exorcism to rid a human being of diabolical possession
A "real exorcism" is what most of us think of when we think of exorcism. In this case, the priest-exorcist is dealing with a human being who is possessed by the devil — the devil is inhabiting this person’s body.
According to the Church, telltale signs of demonic possession include [ref]:
Speaking or understanding languages which the person has never learned (different from "speaking in tongues," which is considered a sign of religious ecstasy, not possession)
Knowing (and revealing) things the person has no earthly way of knowing
Physical strength beyond the person’s natural physical makeup
A violent aversion to God, the Virgin Mary, the cross and other images of Catholic faith
If you do a Google search for the word "exorcism," you’ll find ads for exorcists — Wanda Pratnicka, for example, has "30 years experience with 25,000 successfully performed exorcisms." This makes demonic possession seem like a pretty common occurrence. But to the Roman Catholic Church, it’s rare: It only finds true demonic possession in about one out of every 5,000 reported cases [ref]. So what does it take for the Church to send in an exorcist?
Exorcism in Other Religions
Exorcism is not unique to Roman Catholicism. Other Christian sects, other religions and cultures around the world all have their own way of "casting out the devil." Here are just a few examples:
Judaism: Jewish folklore and Kabbalah teachings tell of a malevolent spirit called a dybbuk. This spirit is the soul of a dead person that has come back to address unfinished business, and it inhabits the body of a living person in order to carry out its goals. The dybbuk can be expelled through a rite of exorcism and leaves the body through the toe.
Islam: Islamic belief tells of a jinn — an evil spirit and servant of Satan — that can invade the human body and cause illness, pain, torment and evil thoughts. This jinn can be expelled by the possessed person by reciting particular passages of the Qur’an.
Hinduism: In Hinduism, the Vedas scriptures tell of an evil spirit that can not only harm humans, but can also stand in the way of the will of the gods. A traditional Hindu exorcism includes such rituals as burning pig excrement, reciting prayers and offering sweets to the Gods.
