I’m only in the very early stages of my pregnancy but I’m getting very excited and want opinions on names. This time round, I want the sex of my baby to be a surprise. My daughters name is Zara Alexis and she is four on January 12th which is great because of all the christmas sales! (oops i’m wandering off the question).

Please give me your opinion on these names, mix them around and give me your own ideas.
Please keep in mind that i’m just throwing idea’s around and the names won’t necessarily be spelt that way. Also in response to people who keep insulting the name Lucifer. It’s not my favourite name out of the bunch so if I had a boy I probably woudn’t name him this.
Also, the fact that lucifer is another name for Satan is irrelivant because:
1.It is still a name
2. I like it
hmmmm…if your just throwing names round then it doesn’t matter what other people think about the name lucifer. Personally i like it. My daughters are called Angel and Lydia! I should of named Angels twin Lucifer!Anyway..
Girls names:
Holly Jane = Very pretty but a lot of people have the middle name Jane, why not change it to something more unique?
Aeslynn Summer= Very pretty, definately unique in the UK.
Sofia Lyric= I think it’s nice but I prefer the spelling Sophia (with such a unique middle name, you might want a more common first name)
Maisie River= I think they’re both pretty seperate, but they don’t go well together.
Chloe Marie= Don’t usually like the name Marie but it does go well with Chloe.
Jennifer Rowan= Jennifer’s not my favourite name as its very common but because you’ve given it a strange middle name, i think they balance each other out.
Katie Lynn=Love it, its very girlie and pretty.
Cara Leighannie= I don’t care what people say, Because Cara is such a short name, you’ll need a long middle name to balance each other out, however you don’t want to call you baby this if your daughter’s name is Zara!
Sophie Rose= I didn’t like it at first, but if you say it a couple of times you learn to like it.
Mia Lucy= Even though both names are short, they do go well together.
Ella Rain= It’s really pretty, especially if you say it all in one go but if you want the name to mean anything then you might want to spell it ‘Raine’ because then it means queen
Angel Mae= Do you know me or something? I have to like this name as it is my daughters name so obviously I love it.
Lydia Fae= Also my daughters name so yes of course I love it as well.
Boys Names
Lucifer James= I love them seperately but the name is too long when you put it together. Why not try something shorter like Lucifer Jay?
James Lucas= Awww, this name is cute for a boy.
Kai Nathaniel= I have to admit, I went to monkey world and there was an orangutan there called Kai so i’m not fond of that name but apart from that it is nice.
Samuel Jay= I love that name. I was going to name my daughter Samuel if she was a boy.
Ryan Leo= Hmmm..love the name ryan but not sure about leo. You can’t really use Leon because then its sounds silly. Why not try Ryan Chase?
Owen Thomas= Love the name. Thomas is my sons name. It goes well together!

Aeslynn Summer- Ashlynn sounds okay, but I would have never guessed it was pronounced Ashlynn due to the spelling.

For boys I like Kai a lot the middle name is good too. Plus i like owen but not with that middle name.

I like some of these names, more if they were altered. Take into consideration how their name would be thought of as they enter high school or become an adult.
Girls names: Holly Jane
Boys names: James Lucas, Samuel Jay
I think you can alter the girls names by choosing Marie, Rose, Lynn, or Mae as their middle name to make it sound prettier.
Girls names you shouldn’t use: Aeslynn (weird spelling), Lyric (is this even a name?), Maisie River (really does sound like a river.. sounds old fashioned/dog’s name), Leighannie (old fashioned/dogs name), Ella Rain (sounds like name of a doll or character from a story book), Fae (just doesn’t sound right for a middle name)
Boys names you can alter: Nathanial James, Nathanial Ryan, Ryan James
Boys names you shouldn’t use: Lucifer (I think of a bible), Leo (I think of a lion), Owen (sounds too old)
I’d stick with the normal sounding names. And sorry sounding blunt or mean.. but I hope this helps!
